A small top water lure that is perfect for the LRF/ultra light gear. The one I have been using is the 5.5cm 3.3g version, in Illusion White and has been very successful in my hunt for estuary bass.

Being called a Bullet Mullet, it lives up to its name as it is a great imitiation of a mullet and it does cast like a bullet. Being armed with two sets of treble hooks, you are guaranteed to attach yourself to any hungry predator that hits it. These can be swapped for barbless inline singles to improve unhooking your catches. It also has a rattle inside to trigger that predatory response. 

Working the lure is as simple as casting out and then just using a steady retrieve as a wake bait, then for that easy walk the dog action, throw in small regular twitches and that helps give that distressed fleeing look of a separated or injured bait fish. 

Not a lot compares in fishing as seeing that wake behind your top water lure, before a bass erupts from the water, engulfing the lure. This would be an ideal beginners lure as well, just for its ease of use and price range, but also ideal for the more experienced angler who is looking for that LRF sized topwater at a reasonable price.
